This is a T-shirt that I designed for a corporate client. I sketched the  lighthouse image by hand and scanned it in to create the design along with my idea for the slogan.

I designed this cool logo for my client, Jim, who is a musician and has a "booming" mobile performance stage business. 

I wanted the logo to represent the mobile part of the business (the wheels are vinyl records) and with graphics that reference musical instruments and the state-of-the-art sound system.

The AC/DC High Voltage shirt is a super cute pink tie dye, cropped and fringed at the waist.

This long sleeve button down is an authentic Roadster Life Co. , High Velocity Jeans Wear shirt. I added embroidered patches from another thrifted shirt to give it a cool pop of color and design.

It's now a one-of-a-kind wearable art piece!

This is a black satin blazer style jacket. I replaced the original buttons on the front with rhinestone sparkly ones. The back has a profile of Prince, Paisley Park label, and sparkles. I added a special Paisley Park quote from Prince on the red satin lining.

"There is a park that is known 4 the face it attracts colorful people whose hair on 1 side is swept back The smile on their faces It speaks of profound inner peace Ask where they're going They'll tell U nowhere  They've taken a lifetime lease On Paisley Park"

Prince named his Minnesota estate Paisley Park, referring to an imagined paradise and spiritual sanctuary where colorful, peaceful people gather. He believed that Paisley Park is in your heart.

You can catch Diana on stage with the upbeat, super fun dance band, Busby. She is the lead singer and Keytar player.

This cute jacket has a flattering fit, embellished with machine embroidery and decorative stitching. The back has beautiful swan fabric panels. Tess and I met at the Night Market at the Old Tractor Yard in Everett, WA. I just love her style and energy!

The back of the jacket has an applique' made from an  authentic Elton John concert t-shirt. It has hand-painted gold stars, machine embroidery, and sparkles.

The front of the jacket has a guitar patch, sewn on.

Lynne's flashy glasses even go with Elton's sparkly glasses!

This soft vest has a hoodie, colorful patches and beautiful stitching on the front.

The back has custom patches from the Cupid Run in Seattle, held every February of course. Let Your Love Run Free!

Susan said she loves wearing her new vest! 

This is a cute thrifted Rock n Roll denim vest that I added custom cutout zebra print applique's to. They are sewn on by machine.

It looks so great on Maria with her rock n roll hair!

Laurie fell hard for the Janice Joplin Denim Jacket, and it looks so great on her! 

I cut and sewed a custom applique' from a Janice T-shirt to the back. For the front and cuffs I sewed on pieces of beautiful paisley fabric.

Laurie found a vibrant, fun Beatles t-shirt that she wanted to have on her denim jacket. It turned out so cute, and I also sewed a matching patch on the front. I added decorative stitching on the back and front.

The Pink Floyd Jacket was for my customer Carol's husband as a special gift.  I was honored to create this one-of-a-kind gift for them, and to be part of such a touching tribute.

I created the patch for the back with an authentic Pink Floyd concert shirt. I created the Floyd label on the front with fabric and machine embroidery.

A special note from Carol:
"Three years ago my husband and his family lost his brother to cancer. Gary was an avid Pink Floyd fan. For Christmas I wanted to do something meaningful for my husband. The Mozart & Roses Jacket started as a thrifted plain black jacket. I wanted it to have a music-influenced vibe since my customer (http://www.jenniferraemusic.com)  is a talented musician/songwriter and wonderful friend. 

I found a t-shirt with the music of Mozart and made it into an applique' to sew on the back.

I handpainted silver roses on the front and sleeve, and I hand-embroidered silver metalilc thread to create sheet music lines and notes.

I created these special stagewear jeans for musician, Neil Sturgeon. He had these well fitting but plain jeans that he wanted tricked out with fabrics from his own mother's quilting stash. I was honored to be  asked to work on a project with such special meaning as this one. 

Neil's request was to have a longer back packet for his phone, a small front pocket for guitar picks, and to make the jeans look cool with the Coke fabrics. 

When I started on the project and looked through the fabrics to see what I had to work with, I found two quilt blocks that his mother had sewn. I asked him if we could use them, and I also said I'd like to put her signature on one of them. I'm so glad he agreed. It made them extra special. 

I used a fussy cut style to cut out specific images from a variety of the Coke fabrics and stitched them onto the quilt blocks to add more color and interest. I added machine embroidery as an interesting contrast border around the blocks. I created the unique guitar pick pocket in the shape of a pick, using an actual pick for measurements and testing.

Trisch is rockin the Foxy Gray Jeans. These started out as thrifted Calvin Klein jeans and cute gray fabrics that I had in my stash. I created applique's with the fabrics and sewed them on with decorative machine stitching. The Hey You on the back pocket adds a little flirtiness and more cuteness!

You can catch Trisch playing shows in the area with her band, Trischimmel & Co. She has a beautiful bluesy vibe and voice, and she is a super talented songwriter. I love her style!

I created these special stagewear jeans for musician, Neil Sturgeon. 

Neil's request was to have a longer back packet for his phone, a small front pocket for guitar picks, and to give the jeans a more wild and vibrant look. 

I used bold fabrics that bring a lot of pop and color. I came up with the Day of the Dead skull design with flowers and leaves and really like it. I learned about the meaning of Day of the Dead from the movie, Coco. It's a touching story about family, love, loss, and remembrance. Ever since learning about this special tradition, the calavera skulls have had new meaning for me.

I created the design by hand drawing/cutting the skull and other pieces to make eyes, mouth, etc. I used a fussy cut style to cut out flowers and specific images from a variety of the fabrics. 

I added machine embroidery as an interesting contrast border around the blocks. I created the unique guitar pick pocket in the shape of a pick, using an actual pick for measurements and testing.

One of my customer's favorite pair of jeans had several holes and rips from lots of wear.  I upcycled them into her new Seeing Stars Jeans, and she loves them!

 I created custom applique' patches, embellished with decorative stitching and machine embroidery, and painted on stars and splatters. 

Laurie found the perfect denim shorts for her runner's physique, and she loves butterflies!

These have sewn-on butterfly applique' patches on front and back. On the front, I added a cute belt loop decoration.
